A Tiny Picture Por Tu.

Texture, color, symmetry

Kitty

April 29 - Small Kitten watching my computer. Sorry it's kinda hard to see... it was cute though, you'll just have to take my word for it!

Moonlight

Show Week

Tuesday April 27 - Second day of Anne of Green Gables show week. It's incredible to see how everything is coming together. When I used to be in them I never really appreciated everything that went on behind the scenes to make stuff happen right, but now I have gained a new appreciation for backstage crew.

Little bird

Little bird, sing. Even if you are trapped behind bars, sing. Little bird, you may never see the light of the afternoon sun, still sing, because someone, somewhere may need to hear your song. You may not even know they are listening, still sing, small one, still sing.

Barefoot.

Sunday April 25 - You can't really tell but my left big toe is quite bloated as a result of playing soccer barefoot against other people who were not barefoot. Which really was rather unintelligent of me.

Meet the Star of the Cast

Saturday April 24 - Pegleg Penny! She plays the all important role of the mannequin wearing the "puffed sleeve" dress in Anne of Green Gables.

Friday April 23

Brother/sister toothbrush bonding time! We've had some great moments brushing our teeth together... as weird as they may sound.

Oh My

Today I was assigned the task of organizing the Family Life cookbook. I have no idea what I've gotten myself into, nor do I think I really want to know... Part One: get this file of recipes typed up nicely.

Wednesday April 21

Yet another picture of my very adorable cat.

Whence I become a great great grandmother.

Of a goat that is. How old did you think I was? Ninety-two?

April 18

April 18 and what is that on the ground? Well, it's sure not dandelion fluff.

Booth Brothers

Saturday April 17 - I got a little more in touch with my Southern Gospel side tonight. Oh wait, I don't have a Southern Gospel side. Hmm, well, I got good food out of the deal anyway!

Growing Up

One of my dearest friends began her seventeenth year of life today. To celebrate, we ate lots of food and played Quelf. Twas ideal in all aspects.

Exhaustion and Crunch Time

Sincere apologies for the lack of creativity and quality in the past few pictures. This picture kind of explains why.

April 10,11,12

This picture encapsulates so much about the past three days. It says that I have spent way too much time driving from one place to another. It says I've only seen my house while passing through on my way to somewhere else. It says I've been too busy to take a picture on the 10 or the 11. And it says gee whiz, I'm too tired to use my nice camera so I used my camera phone. Betcha didn't know that one crummy-looking photo could say so much, did you? Now don't get me wrong, the last few days have been anything but crummy. They've been amazing, but this girl is exhausted from all the busyness of life and would very much like to see this sight (my home) a little more than I have been.

Friday April 9

Aah, Sharathon... It's a twice a year occasion where everyone smiles and laughs a ridiculous amount, gets completely exhausted, cheers till they start to lose their voices, eats delicious food, praises God even after answering phones for hours on end, and where George becomes a balloon monster.

Thursday April 8

TOMS barefoot day. I went without shoes all day to get a taste of what people all over the globe who don't have shoes go through. I went to the college library, to FLM, to the YMCA all without shoes. I got a couple weird looks, a few questions, two scoldings, and maybe several thumbs ups.

Wednesday April 7

Wish I could make time go slower. Then maybe I'd have time to get everything done that needs doing.

Tuesday April 6

My cat, doing what I wish I could have been doing

2 Corinthians 3:12-17

Monday April 5 - "Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."
I keep reminding myself, it is the Spirit of the Lord that takes the veil away.

Easter is:

April 4 -
-not about chocolate bunnies
-is about Jesus and his love, power, forgiveness, and resurrection.
However, I think that the eating of chocolate can still bring glory to God.

Places I Go (Part 7)

I go skinny dipping in vats of Easter egg dye... ok, that's a lie, but seriously, I love the celebration of Easter because it means that Jesus is who he said he was and that means that I get to be with him forever and that's infinitely better than skinny dipping in egg dye.

Places I Go (Part 6)

April 2 - I go to this barren parking lot frequently. Of course, it's rarely barren at 8:45 in the morning when everyone is arriving for their 9:00 class. Today was the warmest day I had experienced in a long time and you could tell that everyone was enjoying it. Instead of walking around with heads down trying to avoid the bitter wind, students actually walked around smiling and looked each other in the eye with a smile. It almost seemed like an entirely different campus. Such is the joy that the sunshine brings.

Places I Go (Part 5)

April 1 - This one should properly be titled "Places I Went" because I probably won't be going back to that pool, but I went there for my lifeguarding class and turned blue. Literally. The water was not conducive to spending long amounts of time with little body fat to insulate oneself.

Places I Go (Part 4)

March 31 - I go to my refrigerator, where I often look repeatedly, expecting to find something that wasn't there five minutes before.

Places I Go (Part 3)

I go to work, where I help make absolutely delicious food and where I work for an absolutely amazing boss.
