New Books!!
August 23 - New books for a new semester. I've never been more excited for school. Compare these books to the ones I had in the Spring semester, and you'll see why! I get to spend my whole year studying the Sciptures! Sweet beans!

August 22 - Room decoration... continued and unfinished. This is a tree, or, it will be a tree when it's done.
A Journey Begins
August 20 - These stairs kind of remind me of a journey, at the bottom you can't quite see what's at the top, and when you set out on a journey, you're never quite sure where you'll end up, but it's sure to be beautiful along the way. College life... here I come.

Beatrice the Betta
August 17 - So I missed a few days here while I was staying at a friends house here in SC, but I wanted to introduce Beatrice, my adopted betta fish. She came all the way from New York with me!
On the road
August 14 - In which I arrive in South Carolina! And in which I find these glasses in a Cracker Barrel store and force my mother to let me take a picture of us wearing them.
August 13
Goodbye Joseph. Today was the last day and possibly one of the more depressing days of my life. I had to say goodbye to my "fake" family comprised of the summer youth theater staff as well as all my Family Life friends and I had to say goodbye to my sister and little brother. *sigh*

So I missed a day or two in here... but had I taken pictures they probably would have looked very similar to this... small children on a stage dancing. That's pretty much been my life this week. But it's good, really good.

Day 1 of the last week of youth theater workshops for the summer. Darren found a friend rather similar to the one I almost picked up the night before...

Speidie Fest Day 2! We wandered around, found the free photo booth and caught crayfish in the creek.

Spiedie Fest!!! We got our spiedie sandwiches, and they were pathetically small. We were a little bummed...

Howard Community Days
July 31 - This is Maria at Howard Community Days; where they throw cheese out of firetrucks during the parade as well as candy. And where the entire parade consisted of driving the volunteer fire department equipment down the main road along with an extraneous tractor and a couple four wheelers. Ah, there's no place like Howard.
July 25
The youth theater workshop team reunited for a second week! And it was Mike and Liz's first wedding anniversary! So we celebrated with sparkling grape juice. And I stole this photo off of Liz's facebook.
July 22
Mess day at camp... where everyone gets plastered with food and the counselors pluck spaghetti out of the grass for an hour afterwards.
